Taha Abbasi Scam

This is my blog site to help those who have been scammed by Taha Abbasi, and to warn those who are about to be scammed by this fraudster.

Taha looks the part and talks the part, but he is a fraud. He’s a fraud about his background in tech, and his ability to program (he doesn’t know how beyond the facade). There’s a documented history of failures where he ultimately blames everyone else for his inability to produce a working product. He said he worked for NASA, and we can’t find anyone who can confirm that. Turns out that Taha isn’t even a programmer.

I worked with him in a past business, and he single-handedly destroyed our company, because he couldn’t perform… even after his receiving hundreds of thousands of dollars. Taha is a sociopath with no concern for his colleagues… he just kills companies because of his greed. I’ve watched him for years and I am surprised he’s not in jail… he’s a real criminal!

The last company Taha worked at reached out to me since I was on his resume, and we shared nightmare horror stories. Apparently he “resigned”, but he had no choice since they were onto him. Once again, he was holding their software and source-code for which they paid hundreds of thousands of dollars hostage. We’ve been reaching out to other companies that he worked for, and we have solid proof of a nefarious pattern of behavior.

What he does is through lies and deception, earns the position of CTO at your company. He bills you for the work through his defunct company WebnApp, but never delivers a working product. He makes up fictitious names of employees, and creates the illusion that 30+ people are hard at work on your technology. Once he either taps you out of monies, or gets called out for his incompetence, he holds your source-code hostage for more money before he will release it.
